In February, we announced the launch of our new Sip & Surprise class. Now it’s March and we have something else to announce!
Sip & Salvage!
Similar to how Sip & Surprise was inspired by our Cork & Canvas class, Sip & Salvage takes its inspiration from our successful, monthly Cork & Craft classes. It also can be seen as a Flea Market Flip twist! We come up with the ideas and the materials, participants just have to put together the projects! And who knows, we may even have some competitions in the future!
We have 3 goals for our Sip & Salvage classes:
- Salvage or re-purpose items that may find there way unnecessarily into the landfill.
- Create beautiful pieces of art!
- Have fun!
Our first Sip & Salvage class is offered on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 1pm -5pm. In this class, participants will create this colorful ottoman–perfect for your living room, den, or porch! Just in time for spring!
And who would have guessed that this piece uses an old tire as the framework?!?! The great news is that our participants can feel good about finding a new home for their tire and avoiding the situation that you see below.
Each Sip & Salvage class will feature an all new re-purpose type of project. Participants will also have some flexibility on colors/patters/fabric/etc. And don’t fear! No “handy-man” skills are needed! Our instructor will supply all of the tools, supplies, and guidance needed to successfully create your shabby chic salvage project.
If you have specific project or idea in mind and would like us to consider it for a future class, please email us and share your idea!
